Using Macroelement Content to Characterize Surficial Water Quality of Artificial Reservoirs

Abstract The quality of surface waters in the territory Poland, despite implemented remedial measures, is mostly classified as bad. This article presents results research on composition water macroelements 24 artificial reservoirs located Opole province (southern Poland), searching for reasons behind their pollution. Concentrations anions F − , Cl Br NO 2 3 PO 4 3− and SO 2− cations Na + NH K Mg 2+ Ca were taken into account.
